As she desired

malubotelho

She curled her face upon the little hill and rested in inconsolable thoughts.
Her beautiful vest seemed somewhere shredded.
Lifted, her eyes felt tired. She was there against her will.
How much she envied the flying colorful creatures, freely dancing, splitting the air with they face. She cried thinking how secure she was, she would never experience the infinite vast sky.
She cried and her tears reached high. Angels turned the lights on.

The lights lit profusely as she begin to dance.
She charmed the wind asking for help and twirled her body as the wind blew. Strong feelings took over and frenetically she danced in her soul. Petal by petal she let go, part of herself had flew freely into the air. She was finally happy and free turning herself into withered fragments that would later be composed as stardust.

So beautiful and moving. Living a life not as was meant to be but life and desires, and love of the worlds beauty around us, continue within the restraints. And life ends as we all will once again become stardust. Very moving for me today.

Thanks B/A. I have some beauties on my garden and this one came to me as I was admiring one of them. Short life span. I can never have all of them beautiful and blooming together but I always have some new ones coming.

Malu, there are times when any and all of us would like to let go, petal by petal (beautifully said), I think.
