I watched

I watched you fall asleep

Dream on

Fly away from reality.

 

I watched you laugh

With your eyes full of joy

And your teeth brighter than the sun.

 

I watched you cry

And wipe away the tears with your palms

Then never look back at me.

 

I watched you die

From my memory

And never hear you talk again.
