DEAFENING SILENCE

Louis Gibbs

At times in life

There are no words

For what the heart is feeling.

That's okay, when there's nothing to say,

Our emotions scream loud and clear.

Souls speak to each other through the eyes,

Deafening communication one cannot hear.

Good write, sometimes the noise silences drowns all other sounds.

I love it when that happens. Thanks for your comment, Goldie.

Good write L. Sometimes, or often, just 'being there' helps. But meanwhile - I comes along and shatters the silence, with a loud 'Cooeeee'. Then I 'goes back to sleep'. lol.

Sounds like a fun life to me! Thanks for the compliment, orchidee.

You found the words, very eloquently, I might add, to say that sometimes there are no words. Very true and well written.

And your words are greatly appreciated, Fred. Thanks!

"Deafening ", A word I have been searching for so long. Thank you.
It is such a precise expression of the moment.
