('Dear Lord and Father of mankind')
The last line of each verse is repeated
*******
Psalm 63 v.1
O LORD, to you I sing a song
Help me, for you I long
Like Psalmist in dry, thirsty land
Lead me in still by your good hand
With all true Christians' band
Psalm 63 v.1
As if my soul, as if it parched
My purpose overarched
'Tis to seek you, to know you more
Until reaching eternal shore
Blessings for humble, poor
Psalm 61 v.2
From ends of earth I cry to you
Come to me, me renew
When my heart overwhelmed it be
Guide m to rock higher than me
It your true presence be
Psalm 62 v.2
he only is my rock, defence
My salvation from hence
And I shall not be greatly moved
For you to me your love have proved
My troubles you have soothed
Psalm 63 v.7-8
Because you my sure help hav been
Generous, and not mean
In shadow of your wings I do
Rejoice, follow hard after you
And worship you, your due

I'm continually blown away by your obvious knowledge of the Bible and your ability to write something different each time to a strict format - I take off my hat to you Orchi - err no I don't - I'm not wearing one. 🙂
Thanks M. I shall raise a sherry each time to your fine poems and pics. Every time?! hic! lol.
I would say understanding Bible in poetry way. So inspiring.
