The Sun is napping
The cloud is dreaming
The breeze is tickling
The tree is giggling
The rose is whispering
The butterflies are chasing
Sitting in the garden chair
I am enjoying

It's a lovely day here in the UK (puzzled thought you were in the States where I guess it's still morning) but no time to sit - I've been painting the main entrance porch and I'm now knackered. So this was a great little poem to come in to read.
I was painting the ceiling (only a small patch, takes half hour) before I step outside. In what color you paint the porch? Not white, I guess, maybe blue? So glad it help you relax.
Hate to admit it but in white and its taken all day ___ and you've given the game away - colour without a 'u' = States
You are an artist with sharp eyes. Very good detective. I am in US now.
Yes, beautiful poetry on a Sunday afternoon is a good way to spend the day. Glad you're enjoying your Sunday. ; )

Simple pleasures. Simply a smiling pleasure to read too.
It's the simple that bring the pleasure. I am glad you enjoy it.
It is wonderful just to sit with nature.
Yes. it is. should do it more often.
Very refreshing!
Thank you for stopping by.
A most beautiful way to describe a lazy afternoon. Since I would do that on the beach, I would have to add the ocean!
Here it is:
The wave is sweeping
or
The water is blinking
Such a lovely write. Smart one. Enjoyed reading a lot.
Enjoy your day. Thanks.
another good reason to smile methinks ... actually I couldn't stop myself ... thank you for posting ... N
