Chance.

Fay Slimm.

Chance.

Pasts were forgotten,
no more were they strangers
to each other, yet
unknown then to themselves
change held awe
in the shape of desires begun
for outside of norm
        age must relate to renewal.
Senses felt numb
until both realized kindly fate
meant to open love's
gate so two might make one.
Beyond time's fixed
awareness begins destiny's
chance for romance
and there duo-maturity sat
agasp at reality.

A beautiful description of the rekindling of love's fire at advanced age, Fay. It strikes a chord ... loved it!

A good write Fay. The layout gives pauses after each line. I don't pause at times - just waffle on a thousand words (well, almost!). heehee.

Beautiful your poem about love encountered at late age. I'm here living it in reality. It is beautiful indeed.

Love your Poem FAY and it is a perfect reflection of the DAWNING of New Love ! And a perfect picture of a Couple ~ Lost in each others LOVE. We all from time to time try o express the wonder and intimacy of LOVE, However like trying to write about the Total Eclipse of Brother Sun by Sister Moon ~ "It's better Felt than Telt" so it is with LOVE ~ AMEN Thanks for sharing ~ Yours as ever ~ BRIAN
