The Sad Clown

Tony36

I am a clown

But

I where a frown

They laugh at my hurt

They laugh at my pain

Mean while

I slowly go insane

Can they not see the tears

Flowing like a mighty river

From my eyes

Yet

They laugh

Can they not see

That something is wrong with me

I need help

Not laughs

I need a friend

Not laughs

I am a clown

But

I where a frown

They laugh at my hurt

They laugh at my pain

Mean while

I slowly go insane

Sad but well written Tony - I always feel for what is behind the grin of a clown.

Very well written Tony. Far too many people feel exactly like this everyday of their lives. Thanks for sharing.

Those who laughed did not know they are the real clown in life.
A sad clown with true heart. Well done.
