Tune: Rosefield
('Bread of heaven, on thee we feed')
Hebrews 10 v.12-18
********
Christ, when offered self did give
Sacrifice that we may live
Offered once, sufficient be
That we can salvation see
Now sat down at Father's side
In high heaven He does reside
He sits, prays, and intercedes
For our forgiveness he pleads
Awaiting expectantly
'Til enemies [His] footstool be
There placed form beneath His feet
Separating chaff from wheat
For by that one offering
That [to] the Father Christ did bring
Perfected, amde whole, are they
That are sanctified, who say
'Christ has lived, died, rose for me
Salvation in Him I see'
For the Spirit witnesses
A foretaste of heavenly bliss
That this is the covenant
Which God to us He has sent
That the Lord His laws would write
And put in hearts, minds aright
And too sins, iniquities
He would not upon them seize
But remember them no more
Not guilt, sin, nor any flaw
So now here is remissing (remission)
For sin no more offering
No more offering can be
For Christ has done it all, see
Come, avail of body, blood
Spiritually cleansing flood
And the Spirit in each one
Who trusts themselves to the Son

Very beautiful your poem. It is very comforting for us to think that we have no sin thus we can be free like children of God playing happily on his garden. Thanks for writing about God.
