Hilary's Passing Year.

Goldfinch60

Another year has passed in your life,

Another year of experience and love.

But this year it is special,

As the number sixty is reached.

But sixty is just a number,

Your life will go on the same,

The time you spend with loved ones

Will still be there.

It will not change,

Age is inevitable,

But it is not a hindrance,

It is a spur to move forward.

Move forward in your life,

In the knowledge

That life will always be there,

And will go on,

Go on to infinity.

A fine write G/F. Did us two start from infinity, or when? We was both around in 1066 anyway!

The gift of poetry created by a friend is something special. You are giving a personal tribute, its a part of your relationship with that person. This is quite a lovely gift. I hope she was appreciative of your creativity.

Thank you d a, she has always liked my poetry, she had rather a bad accident winter before last and was bedridden for many months and I started giving her some of my poetry and she reckons that it helped her deal with her situation.
