Size and Sensibility that overawes us the first time we visit !
Awesome Cities ~ Abilene ~ San Antonio ~ Houston ~ Dallas and
AUSTIN ~ The most beautiful Capital in the whole of the USA !
I have Family in AUSTIN so I am biased ! TEXAS will NOT drown
in the FLOOD ! With your support and prayers ~ She will bounce
back again ! Perhaps in our desire to "Build Heaven on Earth"
we have exploited our beloved Planet EARTH ? Please forgive
us LORD ~ we stand humbled in the face of NATURE. Let us
learn lessons LORD ~ that in the future we will seek to live ~ More
like our Native American Bothers in HARMONY with NATURE !

- Comment from author about the poem: TEXAS ~ Through TV ~ brought into all our living rooms in epic films and of course DALLAS & DYNASTY ! In the UK we all want to visit TEXAS and see for ourselves. We sing "Deep in the Heart of TEXAS" and "The Yellow Road of TEXAS" and older Brits remember President Johnson ~ A real Texan ~ and how he took over from JFK and pushed through the Civil rights legislation ~ Some ACCIDENTAL PRESIDENTS do a great JOB ! I met Lucy Baines Johnson ~ after 911 ~ and she told us how much her life changed when she realised "That Mah Daddy was the PRES~I~DENT !" It will take many many months to get the Coast and Houston back to normal so ~ PRAY WITHOUT CEASING for TEXAS and all TEXANS ~ as bravely they weather this latest STORM ~ AMEN ~ Texan Hugs for All ~ BRIAN XOX

AMEN ANDY ~ We are too far away to help personally but we can PRAY and spare a DOLLAR for the relief fund ! I have only experienced flooding once in Liverpool ! Great fun canoeing down the High Street ~ but saturated carpets ~ aweful ~ I now live on a HILL ! Oh Brian. I don't watch much tv but last night I was preparing to go to bed when I saw the terrible situation the people from Texas are being through. Some times is hard to believe what one see. Very sad. Bought tears to my eyes and guilty to my heart as I was so having fun yesterday and those people suffering. Oh my God! Thanks for your poem in reminder to pray for Texas. That was my last scene last night and I'm still praying for God to have mercy.

OBRAGADO MALU ~ I've only been flooded once (as a child) ~ flood water ruins everything and we only had 6 inches not 6 feet ~ it will take months to recover and even more for the Pain to go way ! If we all say a Prayer each day I know God will take notice and stop the rain or send it to Arizona where it's needed ! Brotherly Hugs ~ BROTHER BRIAN

Thanks CHRISTINA ~ for your gracious reply ! I have not visited NEW ORLEANS since the flood ~ but She is slowly recovering and some never went back # they Stayed in Kansas and the most unlikely of other States. Houston is a very important City and it has ground to a halt ! I was disappointed in Trump ~ OK he went ~ but he didn\'t empathise with the People of Texas who are suffering real bad ! We have special Prayer Meetings for Texas and we are sending financial aid for the clean up and rehabilitation etc. The new FUSION on Dream Job when Young is underway ~ SEVEN POEMS so far some quite interesting ! A CHRISTINA S POEM (did you always want to be a Nurse ~ did you have a Nurses outfit when a little Girl ?) would be the icing on the cake ~ OK ? Big Hugs for Today ~ BRIAN
