graft

dusk arising

i shouldn't knock it really

at least it won't be dreary

got to graft with bills to pay

devils gonna miss my idle hands today

Good write, I could have idle hands now I am retired but still seem to be extremely busy.

      • dusk arising

        Thank you Goldfinch, stay busy.

They're not idle hands, they're the tools of an artist ; )

I like short poems and this one is so awesome. Devil may never catch me. I'm too busy and when I'm not busy I'm running.

              Malu's too quick for Satan
              She left early, and he's a late-un.
              thank you malubotelho.

i'm a great fan of short and punchy. Regardless of subject, four lines can say so much

                  • Neville

                    certainly can..

More often our passion or art has to remain idle, as the necessities of survival rob of our time, and then it's too late

Alas, few words to express life's reality
