Leaping Lilies

rrodriguez

Leaping lilies leap after the morning rain.

They sleepily stretch seeking the sunny sun.

Silky, sassy spraying their scented perfume on the purple prairie.

Young, youthful lilies

frolic frivolously on the open field.

Then they too sleep silently under a starry sky.
