Undressed.
Such a beautiful thing is a shell,
floating it sings, 'tho half-empty
salt-ocean's music expressively,
a sculptured strength rendered
for sea-survival, now undressed
ends close-tuned togetherness.
** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
Oh shell of beauty, gone forever
such wholeness but in liquid bed
your glistening retains measured
pace with the breakers in restless
dance of sheer abandon even yet.

A fine write Fay.
Beautiful write again Fay.
The shell would love this! Fantastic work.
Awesome writing as always Fay.
Sweet like a sea shell. 🐚
And such a beautiful thing is your writing, Fay!
Great write Fay
Loved these lines
"your glistening retains measured
pace with the breakers in restless
dance of sheer abandon"
wonderful creations we take for granted until you show us their beauty in abandonment.
