Undressed.

Fay Slimm.

Undressed.

Such a beautiful thing is a shell,
floating it sings, 'tho half-empty
salt-ocean's music expressively,
a sculptured strength rendered
for sea-survival, now undressed
ends close-tuned togetherness.
** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
Oh shell of beauty, gone forever
such wholeness but in liquid bed
your glistening retains measured
pace with the breakers in restless
dance of sheer abandon even yet.

    Loved these lines
    "your glistening retains measured
pace with the breakers in restless
    dance of sheer abandon"

wonderful creations we take for granted until you show us their beauty in abandonment.
