Get organized, make a plan
No postponing, no complains
Look at your future, be no vain
Time is up, pick your brain.
Call your friends
Spread the word
Get a brand and be bold
Jump at six, wait no more
Don't be late, as before.
Get the meaning, be your boss
Put the smile, do that floss
Send the cards, know what to say
Do the magic, be the oz
See you make a great pay.
Five o'clock, wine is ready
Dinner is hot, get the bread
Say a prayer, go to bed
Sleep through, don't get mad
Dream beautifully, cruise time
A blue ocean, weather is fine...
Sound the alarm, no more time
Because life can never stop
Here we go, another day
If you still asleep
Get up and find your way.

And never time to contemplate - I'm exhausted reading it Malu great write though it is to be sure 🙂
Yes Michael. Nothing poetic in this, right? It is a speedy Monday for me.
Great poem, Malu. The first thing that came to my mind was the Energizer Bunny!
Yes, the rhythm is fast. Like the bunny. I've tried to post a video with it but did not go trough.
I printed it off and put it under my pillow. Now when that alarm clock goes off i shall not linger in my bed trying to pull together the remnants of a lost dream. No. I shall promptly read your instructive poem and rush into my day with a smiling rhythm in my step.
Do you believe me?
Well my friend, sometimes it is time to slow down and dream a bit more so we can finish that poem. I'm my case I like like to get up at 8:00 and never at 6:00 unless I want to go see the sunrise once in a while. I don't work too fast but I wrote this for my younger son to inspire him. Thanks always for reading my poems. Very appreciated.
Thanks Malu that was inspiring
Thank you for reading.
Good write, yes we do need to keep going but time for ourselves is always important as well.
Yes, you are right. The message here is for those younger people that keeps leaving everything for tomorrow. We have to balance our time but be aware that it leaves as behind.
