THOSE whose Faith is focused on GOD
Find their Security in HIM
They do not have to live in fear !
BUT they don't avoid Life's Tempests
BUT GOD never leaves them alone
HE cares and provides for them !
With GOD at your side ~ do not fear
The Enemies that so threaten
Or affliction that lays you low !
All about you ~ Men Fail & Fall
BUT GOD is at your side ~ HE can
LIFT YOU UP ~ and on to VICTORY !
I'll deliver those close to me
I'll reward them ~ ETERNAL LIFE !

Remember that story where Jesus said I always walk with you, and the man said I only see one set of foot prints in the sand, and Jesus said that was when I was carrying you!

It's Long Metre (8888 = LM). Found a tune: Gelobt Sei Gott [God be Praised]. Hymn: 'Christ is the King! O friends upraise'.
There are 3 lines of 8 syllables each verse, plus a line of three 'Alleluias' as the last line of each verse.
Need one more line for the last verse! I can get a bit formal and waffly though!
