Good write Michael. I can't eat snails, oysters, anything gooey or slimy. Ewwwwww!

If it's crustacean and edible I love it - especially served in rich sauce of garlic butte, ginger, and cream with chunks of fresh baked artisan bread. Or in a freshly cooked paella with a good bottle of plonk.

Just looked it up - not something we are familiar with in the UK - looks good - we are more likely to tuck into a good fry up with quality sausages, black pudding, bacon, fried bread, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms et al

OK, Michael, first of all your poem is not PC (frogs eat snails), my French brother in law would probably object, but then he is not really French, he is from Alsace and speaks German.
But otherwise I just love it!
