Paint's Heat.

Fay Slimm.

Paint's Heat.

Brushes which fuse earth and sun
in bold oily strokes.
Lines that move across landscape
like flames of smoke.
Palette fervent with passion snaps
colour's moment.
Framed an artistic heart's anguish
stays ever molten.
Signed by Van Gough paint's heat
never goes cold.

A fine tribute Fay. Do many 'geniuses' have turbulent and troubled spells in their life? Or are some just drama queens?! lol. I saw a subtitled programme of 'Van Cough', as they put it. doh!

Fay, I think Sotheby should hire you to write the descriptions next time they have a Fine Art Auction. How could somebody NOT buy a painting with such a beautiful interpretation.
