Under the stars ✨

malubotelho

The party was churning inside everyone looked so phony
despite all the people together, they both felt so lonely.
Empty hearts, looking for fulfillment.
She went out and sat on a bench.
He without thinking, went following her scent. She was only sixteen, looked quite innocent. He saw her sitting alone thought he might take a chance.
The night was deep blue,
The moon was shining crescent
They both sat there, looking down,
Without any movement.
Something should happen
to eternize that moment
So they could identify
Seize the time, be present
when he looked at her,
Cupid set an event, was just an arrangement far above from the skies
a star changed her path sending light into her eyes.

Thank you Louis. It was a bit of reality and imagination all together. Took me back to when I was sixteen and had a sweet heart ready to fall in love.

A really nice poem about innocence and love, even though they might not have know yet what love is.
Hope you get better soon, Malu!
