This life we are dreaming
Is becoming a nightmare.
Could it be time to awaken?

I woke 2 hours ago and did hear your alarm - I sometimes think we are living a nightmare with all the bad news - we really do need to wake up - great work Louis.
Don't know how much longer we can sleep through this dream. Thanks for your comment, Michael.
But we only get to hear mostly bad news in the world, terrible as it is.
Thanks to the news whores. Of course there is good happening also ... but the level of madness is growing ten-fold. Thanks for the comment, 'O'.
This dream life we are leading is becoming a nightmare, hopefully soon we will return to the dream of love in all the world.
The question is, what will it take for that to happen ... something quite traumatic I suspect. I appreciate your comment, Goldie.
Nice verse Louis very thoughtful.
Thanks so much, WL!
If it bleeds it leads.
24/7 news and technology
Is squeezing our brains.
It best to ignore it best you can!
One can ignore the reporting of it, but the fact of it remains ... can't be ignored away. I appreciate your comment on the 24/7 news, jg!
Too many stay asleep and try to hide from the nightmare of reality. Great write.
Yes, asleep with their heads in the sand. Thank you, lg.
Your intriguing poem made me think of the French Revolution, the birth of the USA, and the Love and Peace movement of the 60's. With the power of today's social media, could the next 'revolution' be a world-wide one by the 'little people'?
Good point. Todays technology has made that possible, perhaps probable. If there is to be a breakthrough prior to devastation, It would require a mass coming together of like minds. Stay tuned! The finally should be spectacular. Thanks, Fred.
You are a sweet raising that flag and writing about a complicated subject in this compact simple way. This is genius. I have a long writing waiting to be published and I'm editing it so I can talk about this without creating too much commotion. You just did and I love you for that. Yes, it is time to awake. I just don't know how it can happen. Thanks for your writing Louis.
