COASTAL EROSION ~ A Sonnet

BRIAN & ANGELA

 

 

COASTAL EROSION in the UK ~ because 

OF the extensive coastline is a very

ACUTE PR0BLEM in ENGLAND and

SCOTLAND ~ WALES and N. IRELAND 

THEY ALL suffer from erosion !

AS SEA LEVELS rise due to CO2

LEVELS DOUBLING ~ melting ice caps !

 

EVERY TIME  the CO2 rises ~ temperature

RISES ~ ice melts ~ sea level rises and

OCEANS crash further & further inland

SO HOUSES and fields and roads all fall

INTO THE SEA !  Can anything stop this 

ONSLAUGHT of our COASTS ?  Only by

NOT RELEASING INDUSTRIAL CO2 !

          THANKS CHRIS ~ Yes the weather was excellent all week ~ 65F and no rain. More houses are in danger some are holiday homes but some are SENIORS who have retired to the COAST and they lose everything ! The houses in the picture will only last one more year and have been vacated. Hope you had a good week ~ loved the positivity in your poem ~ Heavenly Hugs ~BRIAN @@@@@@@
