Farmer Joe.

Wallace

Snow falls on fields of green.

Mother natures miracles can no longer be seen.

Everywhere a blanket of white.

On ones bones jack frost does bite.

Sky above a whitish grey.

No sun around to make a farmers hay.

Sheep look warm in their winter coats.

High up on the landscape i see mountainous goats.

I walk with ease through the soft white snow.

From the east a cold wind starts to blow.

Sheep do cuddle close together.

You have to keep warm in this wintry weather.

From the heavens snow keeps falling.

On my mobile phone the wife is calling.

She says, come back home your dinners about to be served on the table.

I smile and say, I'm on my way thanks for ringing Mabel.
