GOD'S LOVE & OUR SERVICE ~ A Sonnet

BRIAN & ANGELA

O MY GOD ~ You have kept me

Within the Sphere of Your Love

So ~ Year after Year after Year

My Life is enriched by Your Love !

From the first moment of my birth

I was dedicated to Your

SERVICE ~ all my days I have been

Filled with Praise to Your Holy Name !

You have guided mr through my Youth

Now I need Your guidance as I

Grow older and as I take on

Much more responsibility !

I dedicate all my LIFE to

Your Service ~ I TRUST IN YOU ~ AMEN

Thanks for visiting ~ comments welcome ~ Love BRIAN

Because I am a CHRISTIAN ~ everything I do is SERVICE

to My GOD ~ even writing this Poem and the day by day

work of Teaching Applied Science in a College ~ AMEN !

This peom is based on Psalm 71 and is presented as a 4 4 4 2

blank verse sonnet in iambic tetrameter (eight syllables per line).

    Buongiorno Caro Amico BRIAN!
    A beautiful and
    spiritual write!
Reading your poem this morning has made me feel like I’ve gone to church, listened to the homily, consoled my inner being, and came back home to have my coffee!
    Buona domenica!
    Saluti e abbracci...

Some hints of Psalm 71 here, entitled in some versions 'A prayer in old age'. Erm not that you're that old'! I am of course millions of years old. lol. A fine write Brian.
