Each day we live our life
Knowing what to expect,
Our lives are always the same.
We know what to expect from others
And what is to be expected from ourselves.
Our life never changes,
Our life is comfortable,
Our life can be boring.
But what if?
What if you step out of the norm?
What happens?
Well your life begins,
Life changes,
Changes for the better
When you step off the end,
Step off the end of your comfort zone.

Goldfinch, you said it so well: think outside of the box, the box that is your comfort zone! While life within our expectations is comfortable, there are times when we would like to experience something a little bit more exciting. And you expressed that thought perfectly!

I'm afraid comfort zones become more appealing as you get older but still that bit of excitement and apprehension when I do - good work Andy.

I try to stay outside my own comfort zone as that produces the best art and the worst but that’s ok also I don’t mind failing if you can learn something from it , good poem

Since I've never really known a 'comfort zone', living outside the box has come naturally for me. Yes, it has created many of the changes your fine poem alludes to.
