My life is nearly led,
But I look back and see
The life behind me,
I see how rich I am,
Rich with the glories
That came into my life.
The wonder of music,
With me from the start,
Always in my mind,
Will be with me forever.
The power of art,
The imagination of artists,
Showing My Spirit the glory,
The glory of their worlds.
The words on a page,
Written for me,
Touching my heart,
Pulling me forward.
The symphony of nature,
Painted in my world,
Written in colours,
Written in sound.
My world,
My life,
My wonder,
My glory,
There forever.

Beautiful summation - could apply to me for I have nothing to regret and everything to be grateful for - fine write Andy.
Thank you Michael, we have both been blessed.
A full and fulfilling life expressed there Gold, and with your faith as a foundation.
Started me singing now (argghh):
'But purer and higher and greater will be,
Our wonder, our rapture, when Jesus we see'. We'll be rapturing for ever!
Thank you Orchi, you just keep practising those love songs for KP.
Then again - how many millions of years old are you? Or is it just me that is ancient? lol.
Some folk say they are getting on at 50, or even 30, or have not long left at 20! doh!
Another excellent poem from the vastness of your heart Goldie. Blessed are we to be able to read your great work.
Thank you AP you are most kind.
Andy, as a 'senior' all I can say is that your beautiful poem says it all! We all have been blessed with full lives we can look back on and wonder, as well as be grateful!
We certainly can Fred, being able to look back on the goodness that came into and is still in our long lives is a blessing. Thank you Fred.
Andy,
To be blessed with...
“Rich with the glories that
came into my life “
is a blessing in itself!
Thank you for this beautiful
share! It reminds me to be
thankful for the positives in
my daily life!
~Laura~
