Morpheus, Where Did You Go?

Goldfinch60

Morpheus, where did you go?

Why did you desert me last night?

Instead of wondrous dreams

I was left with the thoughts in my mind,

The worries of my soul,

That kept sleep from me.

Morpheus, where did you go?

Yep, been there. More often it seems as time goes by. I guess we find more things to worry about over time?
          Good write here, Goldie.

Great, great poem, Goldfinch! There are nights where I wonder the same thing, but obviously without expressing it as eloquently and beautifully as you did here.
