KNOWING

Louis Gibbs

I know not

How I know

Things I know

I only know

That I know

Exactly what

It is I know

I really

Can't say

Only

Of it I'm

Quite certain

I don't know if I don't know something I don't know because I don't know if I don't. Oh the sort of verbal nonsense I just love - nice one and hope you had a great day - sleep well Louis

"Verbal nonsense" ... I think that describes most all of my postings. But oh well, it is fun to exchange with fellow poets. Thank you kindly for your most gracious reply, Michael!

"Oh, I know!" ( Quote from a wonderful UK comedy called "Faulty Towers")

Well, at least you know a quote. That's something. I appreciate you reading and replying, Goldie!

Do you know what you don't know?
And how do you know if you know it or not?!
And so on.... Good write Louis.

The answer to your questions is ... I think I don't know. But on second thought ... no, I still don't. Thanks for your deep thoughts on this subject, 'O'.

This is soooo deeeep, Louis! Had to read it a few times just to get over the first few lines. Am still wrestling with the intellectual impact, but that it is a gem of a poem, of it I'm quite certain!

And I certainly appreciate your wonderful comment, Fred! Hope you had a good turkey day.

I actually understand Out’s comment. I’m in shock that I do!

Your write actually makes a lot of sense! It’s that little voice within that speaks to us! So we know things without knowing how we know them! When we’re asked, “ How do you know?” and we don’t have an explanation, our response usually is, “I just know”!

            • Louis Gibbs

Precisely, Laura! Personally, I believe that we come in with accumulated knowledge, 'soul knowledge', from many previous lives.
Thank you so much for your comments!
