I COULD go on a Diet
If not I'll end up Obese
I SHOULD change my Car
Or the FEDS will pull me over
I MIGHT buy a House
But I can't afford £300k ($400k) !
PERHAPS I should learn Piano
But they are not portable
MAYBE I'll get Married
But I'm too Young to be a DAD !
I MAY win the Lottery
But I NEVER buy a ticket
WILL You still love Me when I'm 64 ?
I'll ask you again in 2047 !
WILL ZIMBABWE ever be GREAT again ?
Only if we PRAY for HER 24/7
WILL TRUMP get a second Term ?
Only if HELL freezes over !
WILL 2018 be better than 2017 ?

Thanks STEVE ~ Well these key dates in the Calendar are all important ~ like THANKSGIVING USA yesterday and we all give thanks for the successful colonisation and development of the the USA over the last 500 years ! Every day should be Easter Day for the proclamation of the GOSPEL ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN

I know - we may make 1,001 new year resolutions, and we keep about 2 of them in the end!
I'm a half full person - positive thinking - if only everyone was a positive thinker we would be in a much better world. Even despite Brexit and our desire not to stay in the United States of Germany. Wish I was 64 in 2047 - that's well past me but still so much I want to do and achieve - currently looking at new poetry forms and different printing techniques.
Thanks MICHAEL it is the "Power of Positive Thinking" that will make the UK (and ZIMBABWE) Great again ! The Scientist are saying that 116 is about the MAX we can live so you might make 2047bit of course you wont be 64 ! However given the scale and intensity of your Mental Activities you will still be intellectually active ~ which is a great blessing ! Well, I think we have to look at the good stuff. You are not too young to be a dad. And you could be married and not have kids, you know. Anyway, I'm trying to look on the positive side of next year as to not provoke my anxiety. It will be okay! As you said, each of us will make a little change here and there and change the world! THANKS CHRISTINA ~ 2018 is a \"Tabla Rasa\" anything can happen and probably will ! I am thrilled about ZIMBABWE and we devoted last nights Prayer Meeting to Praying for the New Regime ~ we have about six Africans in our Congregation but no Zimbabweans ! Brexit is also a great unknown and of course the USA & N Korea. On a personal level I need to consolidate my Career and make sure all the Courses are progressing well. Angela and I are very good for each other ~ Of course I would love to be a DAD one day ! The paradox of TRUMP as President in the USA ~ is the same as BREXIT in the UK ~ Neither Country really knew what they were voting for and are now reaping the dire consequences ! America said "Anybody but Hillary !" and the UK "We want our Country back !" Somethings you can't predict ~ BUT ~ once the dice is cast you can't retract the decision ! Yours BRIAN
I agree with your veiw, Trump only won that election for lack of better opposition. As for Brexit, I voted for it agsinst my better judgement but the only reason I wouldn't have voted for it was the fear of loosing my job and that's a pretty big reason to me. Thankfully I now have a permanent good job which I enjoy. You know your stuff Brian - Syd
