CHICKS

Michael Edwards

CHICKS

Chicks small and fluffy

Hatched from eggs

In a chicken coop

Covered by mum

Keeping them warm

Scratching and chirping.

Only had a goose/swan drawing so you have to use imagination - thanks Andy

A fine write and pic M. Erm, are they swans in the pic?!
I got to have a lie down to recover. I've read too many long words this early in some poems, in the morning already!

Like chicks? I just drew them for the sake of line - they could be swans or even geese - but they sure aint chicks.

Love the line drawing and adore fluffy chicks - I know though that the duo were not one and the same - - an appealing acrostic Michael.

Made me feel warm and cozy, this one. Like the accompanying sketch, too!
