In Transit.

Fay Slimm.

In Transit.

Jewelled with
rainbow translucence roll
rain-bead balls
slowly down outside windows.

Golden-globe
seed pearls, clear watery
glories slide
in uniformed lines, floorward.

Diamonds in
transit they shine and fire
sparkle from
each crystaline orb's inside.

Smallest gems,
if unnoticed, might seem
irrelevant,
joining the fall into sheen.

Caught however
by eyes with keen poetic
insight odes
to rain-drops might follow.

You are the keen poet who write everything so beautiful.

  • Louis Gibbs

"Eyes with keen poetic insight" ... I really like that line! Insight is the hallmark of a poet, indeed.
Well expressed observations of the life of raindrops on window panes ... and well formed, Fay!

  • Michael Edwards

    Magical write Fay.

Fay, after reading your incredible poem, I will never look at raindrops the same way again!
