We go through our lives each day,
We have good days,
We have bad days.
As you go through them
We need to remember that this is life,
This is what life is.
But do not dwell on the bad days,
They will become storms
And drag us down into despair.
So look up to the light
And always remember
To count your Rainbows,
Not your thunderstorms.

Great advice so well expressed.
Thank you Michael, most kind.
Good write and clip Gold. We can know it's not just wishful thinking or escapism. Are you a wise bird? And if so, a blackbird, or that lune bird in your poem?!
A thunderstorm can be exciting - if we're not outdoors in the middle of it!
Thank you Orchi.
This is excellent Goldfinch.
Great poem. Great message

Thanks Syd, much appreciated.
Wonderful first read of my day Goldi - - rainbows are what we all need to see and believe in. Thanks for this posting.
Rainbows are magical and mean so much. Thanks Fay.
Love this 🙂
Thank you B.
Your reflective poem reminds me of one of
Joseph Campbell’s quotes...
“We must be willing to let go of the life we planned,
so as to have the
life that is waiting for us.”
Great write!
I enjoyed listening to the clip!

Thank you Laura, life is full of surprises that we didn't plan.
That’s for certain!
Life is experiencing. We must be appreciative of the gift of experiencing both ends of the spectrum ... the rainbows and the storms.
Well expressed in this good poem, Goldie!
Thank you Louis, yes we must experience both ends.
