The text read out inaudita
The message borne con brio.
Though she lived in a landscape of marble
the dust lay thick in gutters.
She stretched her wings when darkness fell
and flew around the lamp of love.
The evening wears on and the decibels rise
in the house where the nectar flows.

Thank you Alina
Good twosomes Michael.
Thanks Andy - the village is one across from mine.
The village looks good as does the artwork.
A fine write and pic Michael.
Thanks Orchi.
Superb!
You are very kind - these are great to write.
Couplets times two and with a couple inside the paint. Enjoy the reading and the paint.
Thank you myself and me - that's another couplet. 🙂 🙂
You are a master of couplets: the brush and the pen!
Thanks so much Fred - about to post the shortest of shorties.
