MELE KALIKIMAKA! (Merry Christmas)

FredPeyer

Mele Kalikimaka!

Mele Kalikimaka from Hawaii

Happy Holiday season from the land

Of Hula, sunshine, and palm tree,

Beautiful beaches and sand.

Where Santa relaxes in style

After making all the children happy

Where he lays low for a while

On the beach, taking a nappy

Even though we don’t have snow

Nor grow local Christmas trees

Everywhere decorations are aglow

Cookie smells drifting on the breeze

From our little islands across the sea

We send you a Hawaiian flower lei

May this season and all your days be

Full of joy, with a happy Holiday

        Humuhumunukunukuapua'a (Hawaii State fish)

Thank you Michael. Oh, no, I just figured that if I post it now, and if you like the song, you can listen to it a few more times before Christmas.

So pleased you'll be around and certainly I'll be playing the song.
