We take the words we've wrote on our hearts,
And use them in revealing our soul.

So true, it is amazing how many of us have reacted to Poetry is....
This is so interesting as it demonstrates the diversity in poetry. For me good poetry transports me and takes me to places either where I have never been or where I am asked to redefine. I never write poetry about my own personal inner thinking nor do I ever bear my soul. Even when I do write in the first person it is rare indeed that I actually am providing a documentary about myself except on those rare occasions where I am discussing politics or philosophy.
None of this is, of course, to distract from you your super poem Lasergraph.
A masterpiece in its own write Ed.

As Michael already said, it is amazing how diverse poetry is, and how different, but equally valid so many here on MPS have been describing it.
