Hello, I wonder if you can help me?
I'm a stranger here you see, and
I'm afraid I've lost my way.
What was it you were looking for,
Or where did you want to be?
Well, now, that is part of my problem.
I know I came here for a good reason,
But for the life of me I can't remember why.
I see ... and where is it you are from?
The constellation Orion, I believe.
Although, even of that I can't be sure.
Ah ... one of those Star-People, then.
There seems to be a lot of you coming in.
Yes, they told us it's time for the Shift ...
You know, into the next dimension.
I'm not surprised, things are going to hell!
Oh no, in fact, just the opposite direction ...
You just must pass through hell to get there.
Now, I sense that I must be on my way.
Anything I can do to be of help to you?
Thank you, no, but you've been most kind.
I'm sure I will see you on the other side.
Till then ...

This maybe very true. See you on the other side Louis.
I look forward to meeting you in person, Goldie! Thanks for the comment.
It's E.T. I know! heehee. Good write Louis.
He sends his regards, 'O'. Thanks!
It's nice that E.T. was ( and is - even if he has gone home now!). Often it's that aliens are seen as to be feared, suspicious, evil, etc. Oh I typed in e.t. to refresh my memory of the film (in small letters) - no results. Spooky! lol.
When in fact, we aren't all that bad!
I'm with you all the way, Louis! Got my space helmet ready.
Your poem also reminded me of myself. Nearly every time I walk into my bedroom I just stand there and try to remember what brought me there! 🙂
Me too, and sometimes I have to go out and come back in to recall. See you over there, Fred!
Nothing comes without a price - grand write Louis
So it seems, so it seems. Thanks for your input, Michael1
As Winston Churchill said, "If you are going through hell, keep going". For some though, this is all the heaven they'll ever know. A novel idea Louis and a well crafted piece. Bravo!
So grateful for your kind remarks, Seeker! I enjoy your work too.
