CHRISTMAS ODE (1)

We hoped that snow would fall about

but all that fell was rain

and when King Wenceslas looked out

he soon went in again.

Thanks Kat - I always wondered why he stepped out in the first place and who the heck is that peasant and what's he got to do with the price of fish? Has the world gone mad. Does anyone know?

I think he's melted into history - or is it legend?

Good one, Michael, and I can see myself in the sketch! But with our weather here, I'll be melted before the 24th!

I'm so envious Fred - wish I was there now instead of cold wet UK.

Thanks Laura - I remember being a bit disappointed when I visited St Wenceslas Square in Prague although I love the City.
