A CARDINAL SITS
Outside my room displaying
His crimson beauty
HIS MATE sits in the
background thinking ~ Why was I
not created a MALE ?
BIRDS ~ unlike Humans
it's the MALES ~ who are PEACOCKS
and PEAHENS ~ DOWDY !

THANKS SHADOW ~ PLEASED YOU LIKED IT~ As you know CARDINALS in the Catholic Church always wear Vestments of that vivid red ! It an official shade so the birds (in English) are called CARDINALS ! It is so popular in the USA that it is the Official State Bird of SIX STATES ~ Yours BRIAN (UK)
