Feeling Poetry.

Goldfinch60

Why do these words come onto this page?

They come from emotions,

The emotions laid out before you.

They may be sad,

They may be happy.

The love you have for others

Is always there,

And maybe hate.

But from where do these words come?

They come from when your mind stops,

Even for a moment.

For in that moment

All you do is feel,

And from those feelings

No thought is required

For poetry to be written,

Written on this page.

A thought can save millions and one thought can be a person down fall a thought is ment to be shared sparing your feelings to comfort another

I can relate, we do FEEL poetry. We don't write poetry because we want to, we write because we HAVE to.

        • Goldfinch60

Very true laser, writing poetry is my drug of choice.

Easy, Goldie, the words come from our muse. Have no idea though where the muse comes from.
Interesting concept of the mind stopping. It seems to me that my mind never stops! Maybe the stops are so short we don't even realize it, and from those gaps come the words. What am I talking about, this is way over my head, needs intellectuals like you!

          • Goldfinch60

I feel honoured - an intellectual eh. It has nothing to do with me my muse creeps up upon me and stops me thinking - mind you that is not a bad thing as thinking is bad for you.
