Trusting Truly

orchidee

Tune: Herongate

('It is a thing most wonderful')

Isaiah 26 v.3-4 and v.8-9

********

You will keep them in perfect peace

Whose mind is stayed on you, uncease (unceasingly)

Because they in you do trust sure

You will keep them for evermore

Trust you in the Lord for ever

He will keep you, leave you never

For in the LORD JEHOVAH is

Everlasting strength and true bliss

In the way of your judgements Lord

Have we waited and heard your word

The desire of our soul unto

Your name is, we remember you

With my soul I you have desired

In the night you me have inspired

With my spirit within me here

I will seek you with lowly fear

Early will I seek you, for when

Your judgements are in the earth, then

Its inhabitants they will learn

Righteousness, and will to you turn

          Well written again, orchie!
Trusting truly....easy to say, so hard to do. It is like leaving the safety net, like going completely outside our comfort zone.

Thanks Fred. Yes, maybe I could write umpteen poems about trust, with enough inspiration, but as you say, doing it is another thing.
