Beyond Ahead.

Fay Slimm.

Beyond Ahead.

Over our future horizons

life

lies

in wait.

Mystery, as yet unstyled,
inflates readiness
for human anticipation.

Impressive beyondness
beckons,
infiltrates the present and
beguiles Now

to stimulate awareness.

Looking ahead
must always relate to

exhilaration.

Wary spirits have need to
debate this
disguised transmission
for Past,
having been sated, Future

will come.

But

beware

its

hating

of unrecognition.

A fine write and pic again Fay. I 'predict' more super poems from you! But not in any spooky fortune-telling way of prediction.

    Well written and expressed

Thanks FAY ~ A picture often stirs my MUSE and you have done full justice to this one ! We are on the threshold of 2018 and as you know I am always a supreme optimist ! So I never dwell on the PAST but always CARPE DIEM and make the best of each one ! Thanks for a positive poem as we enter 2018 ! Yours as always ~ BRIAN

U must be meaning the future or even hereafter in this sublime eloquent poem. I like the great wording used. Kudos. And happy new year!

'Somewhere, over the rainbow, skies are blue and the dreams, that you dare to dream, really do come true. Or something very similar happens doesn't it. Living long enough to look back at those pleasant episodes is one of age's joys. Looking bback has certainly spurred me to write - as yesterdays piece - but i never stop looking forward with positivity.
Really enjoyed reading you, thank you.
