Broken Me

FredPeyer

In the silence of my being

I hear the beating of your heart

Hear you faintly whisper

‘we will never part’

In the depth of my emotions

Exists that very special place

A promise for the two of us

To love, kiss and embrace

In the clutter of my mind

There is a memory of you

Where I can see and feel it

And quietly listen too

You are everywhere I look

Fill body, heart and soul

You took a broken me

And made me whole

Not sure that I was ever broken but my wife is there, everywhere, for me and made me whole - super work Fred

Wow, that was fast, Michael! I think that we are made 'more whole' by our loves even if we are not broken. Thank you for your comment!
