It's finally ended but for how long?
This is the longest it's ever rang
Past seven days was last tag on my chat

I've been told through my days
Tinnitus is what rings in my head
 Sometimes low, mostly high tone
I've had this for most of my adult life

So long randomly coming on and off
Till the mental note it's worse in negative thought
When stuck in improving others worlds before my own
Thinking if only I could help them see what I see

My mistakes are mine to see
In the worlds response to me
Love ones are a reflection of this
For no emotion is a greater gift

To be held in someones arms
Knowing no judgement will be fall
A moment of shared breath within
Giving recharge to true love again

 This giving we all give
 Positive or negative
 Conscious or unconscious
 Is what I always see

As that is life to me
 Precious as can be
 Forever expanding
 My new reality to see

So I'm trying get back on track
Of watching from my world view
As there are all ways more to improve
For our own soul needs to grow
Helping plants the seeds of hope

Sorry to disappoint you, PD, but the ringing won't stop. Had it for years, but am ignoring it most of the time.
