Walking on the crowded street
like a lost ghost in the forest
try to find its way to the grave
the day without sun
the night without moon
can not sense cold or hot
the temperature of loneliness
undetectable
Black is too dark
red is too bloody
yellow is too bright
green is too immature
blue is too deep
the color of loneliness
indefinable
Straight line is too thin
curved line is too squiggly
circle is too boring
squire is too simple
irregular is too much
the shape of loneliness
undrawable

Me and my Shadow ~ All alone and feelin' blue
And when it's twelve o'clock ~ we climb the stair
We never knock 'cos nobodies there .......

Your friendship and support mean a lot to me. Thank you for stopping by.
This was a great poem, M&M! I hope you find the love that's right for you soon, but as for this poem, it was awesome!
Thank you Christina, long time no see.
Loneliness wears many hats and shows itself in many ways. And it touches everyone sooner or later in one way or another. Better days are coming m&m. Great write.
Thanks AP. When the loneliness is hard for me to bear, I wrote it. Yes, everything will be fine soon.
That loneliness can be so debilitating but rest assured it can be endured and can lead to brighter days.
Good emotive write.
Loneliness feels like a sticky gum on the shoe, ugly and disturbing. Thank you for reading.
m&m, I am awed by the power of your poem, the way you use these metaphors of temperature, color, and drawing. So well done.
And remember, m&m, loneliness is only a temporary affliction, soon to be replaced by joy and happiness!
Thanks. FP.
