Waiting Words.

Goldfinch60

There are so many within me,

Waiting, pushing,

Pushing to be put on the page.

So many different meanings,

So many emotions to be expressed,

But they seem to be constricted,

Constricted by time.

So many words,

So little time.

Words words, and more words! Sometimes we may feel constricted with one-poem-per-day on here. Yet we would not have time to read hundreds of poems of each poet at once, not to post loads of our own poems each day.
Of course, we can always write as many as we wish, off-site, to our heart's content. Unless we dry up a while, that is!

I have already written four this morning.

Takes such a time for me to type them all up on me memory stick! Well, I should be shorter sometimes then! lol. Is that how Wesley got too 9,000+, including his unpublished poems, by being short? Though he was quite long often.

We share a love of words - currently reading Anna by Arnold Bennett and it's so rich in the use of language.

We surely do Michael, thank you.

But words that congregate can be a vehicle of adventure and amazement for the heart and soul to express the joys and sorrows. Beautiful write Andy.

            Thank you AP, much appreciated.

A time of mixed emotions maybe? I know unsteady/unstable times for me leave me unable to focus upon writing a piece.
The mind has to be running in the right fashion to set ones head and hand to the task.

I find that I can write at any time no matter how my mind is thinking or what emotions are running through me.
