Tune: Leoni
('The God of Abraham praise')
Psalm 104 v.24-31
********
O Lord, how manifold
Your works, can all be told?
In your wisdom you made them all
And none shall fall
The earth it is here full
Let each one on you call
Above, below, earth, sky and sea
Your wonders be
For here in the great sea
Things numberless there be
Of creatures, they both great and small
you made them all
Therein the ships do go
They the seas pathways know
All wait on you for food daily
You our needs see
What you do give, they do
Gather daily anew
You open your hand, providing
And good you bring
But if you hide your face
Uneven be our pace
For then we troubled are, cannot
Say glad our lot
When you do take our breath
'Tis our life's end, our death
And so to dust humans return
Humbly we learn
When you your Spirit send
To us you condescend
We are then created, renewed
With life endued
The glory of the Lord
Shall endure e'er, His word
Shall never die, but endless be
Eternally
The Lord in His works shall
Rejoice, and all tongues tell
Of Him, the Creator of all
Sends blessings full

Blessings to all.
Thanks Gold. You Jewish? I'm not.
Thanks STEVE ~ A tonic for TUESDAY ~ I'm off to work with a sing in my step ! Love the JEWISHNESS of this Tune and your Poem ~ Good to read at a BAR MITZVAH ! When our Liverpool Choir sang "The God of Abraham Praise" (in our Blue Robes and the Girls with Blue Hats) we did a Barber Shop Shuffle ~ great tune to slow ~dance to ! There is not enough Dance~Worship in our Churches ~ we need a bit more Whoopi Goldberg ! Thanks for caring ~ BRIAN.
Thanks Brian. Well yes, even if I'm not a dance-type of person. At least in some places, it shows people are alive - if they dance, if they actually move!! "That you coughing during the sermon? - tut, tut" type of thing, I mean! I'm bit old for too energetic dancing though. lol
Orchie, and blessings to you too!
Thanks Fred.
