Two cubes by the look of it. Poem posted twice! I don't mind reading a fine poem like this twice!
Thanks STEVE ~ A fine poem indeed ~ hope I don't get "fined" now that I have added the Cubist Painting ! I spoke to Pablo last week and he assured me one the models is K P he wouldn't say which one ! Before you look at the painting please make sure you are sitting down and wearing your Dark Glasses ~ Yours BRIAN
Ohh got headache straight away today. Coping with long words like constructivism this time of morning! heehee.
Not to mention Braque and Gris - a great movement but to my eye it was of its time and now a tad dated - is that seditious talk?
Ohh I dunno about the pic myself. I'm more concerned at the moment about longs words like constructi-wotsit.
Not at all MICHEAL ~ While all genres of ART & MUSIC have \"eternal\" appeal ~ each genre is spawned by a generation and it is into \"that generation\" it best fits ! In time all ART becomes outmoded and anachronistic ! ART DECO was a great period and Clarice Cliff Pottery still commands a good price. But it clashes with the stark monochrome (especially B & W bichrome) favoured by newly weds in the 21st C. This is true of a CUBIC PAINTING in a 21st C bijou flat like mine ! I like Georgia O\'Keefe but she is timeless & sensual ! In choice of Visual Art & Music the intrinsic beauty is an the EYE (and EAR !) of the beholder ! We all love your Paintings ~ Abstracts and \"Drift Wood Sculptures\" because they are both unique & timeless ! Thanks for all you Poems Pics \'n Comments ~ Yours Cubically ~ BRIAN
I love poetry that pushes me to consider like this one. I even put on the dark shades
Thanks PL ~ pleased yiu enjoyed the poem ! Some of PABLO's paintings are quite stark & sensuous ~ at the same time ! I always take a pair of dark BIFOCALS when I visit an Art Gallery (and the Theatre) just in case a PAINTING is OTT ~ or the footlights are too too bright ! Thanks for reading & commenting ~ YOURS BRIAN

A great and interesting poem! Loved the artwork! Always wonder where your muse moves you--but it's wonderful. Sister Christina.
Thanks CHRIS ~ pleased you loved it ! We were taught at School that the Subject of a Poem could be ANYTHING ! We were Omnipoets ! We were also taught that Structure was equally important as Subject ! My poem today is 'OMNIBUS ~ NO FUSS' and tomorrow 'SEVEN AGES OF THE SON OF MAN' I always try to think a day ahead ~ a restless muse ! Have a nice day ~ and please post a Poem on anything ! Happy Hugs ~ Brother BRIAN @@@@@@@
