LIMERICKS 49 & 50
A four star chef from Guadeloupe
( in truth a bit of a nincompoop)
could make great stew
from kangaroo
but never could pea soup.
There was an old man in Lower Slaughter
who had a most attractive daughter
a pert little nose
and a mouth like a rose
and deep blue eyes like toilet water.

By the way the cartoon was the design for the Club for a Christmas card - watercolour and ink.
Fine writes and pic M.
Cheers O
Adorable picture and very funny limericks - eyes like toilet water topped them off!
Thanks Lorna - you've got to smile haven't you.
The once was an Artist called MIKE
Who peddled round Town on a BIKE
With his best Mate ~ FRED
They painted Town RED
But ~ Conservative Council ~ don't LIKE
Thanks Michael ~ love all LIMERICKS and
this pair boxes my tick ! Yours BRIAN
Great Brian - pleased it buckled your tixes.
Great limericks, Michael!
Love those penguins!
One of my studentsā favorite
Science units to learn about
...and mine to teach it to them!
Those seven year olds were
amazing! They would know at least three facts about each of the seventeen types(species) of penguins!
An amusing write! Enjoyed it!
A great childrenās novel, āMr. Popperās Penguinsā by Richard and Florence Atwater. An enjoyable and entertaining read! The children loved it!

I did a series of these cartoons/watercolours and they sold very quickly - pity I didn't take pictures of them at the time as I now have no records of them. They all featured the youngster getting into trouble, mum looking back concerned and Dad (usually but not in this cartoon) with his beak in the air pretending that nothing was wrong.
Thatās sound awesome!
We, mums, worry too much for those little ones! Sometimes we overdo it!
So do us dads at times. And us granddads.
TouchƩ, my friend!
An adorable gal from Much Guiting,
Had eyes all the lads found exciting,
But every one,
Grew tongue tied and dumb,
And eventually struck by lightening.
Always fun these things are.
Love it - yes aren't they fun - got a few more to post - can't believe my collection is over 50 now.
