Juicy Hot Dog

rrodriguez

Juicy, spicy sausage

Hold the taste buds hostage.

Nestled in a warm bun,

Slathered with juicy onions,

Tangy yellow mustard,

A mountain of sauerkraut.

Raised to your watery mouth,

A sensation so intense

There’s no defense to the

immense pleasure you feel

Of eating a hot dog while in

New York.

A very tempting write for someone who's never eaten one - maybe one day.

In New York they are frankfurters, but in my poem they are hot dogs. Very tasty treat, but you have to be choosy with them because some are not very healthy. But in taste, boy, do they taste good. Especially in New York. Thank you for your comment.
