Late One Night

willyweed

In long spent dreams

And a time machine

Traveling space and time

No doubt I would go back

To that time

When you're love was mine

Late one night early in the summer of nineteen sixty two

Cruising around town in my fifty-seven Chevy two-tone white and blue

Radio playing rock and roll, Do-wop and the blues, old blue jeans and leather

jackets with studs up on the flap, hair greased up in a pompadour with a ducktail

in the back
