HUMAN COLONY ON MARS ~ NOTE THE BIOMES IN WHICH
FOOD IS CULTIVATED. WE HAVE TO WEAR SPACE SUITS
WHEN WE ARE OUTSIDE OUR AIR-CONDITIONED HOUSES !
WHY did we travel to inhabit MARS ?
Desire to escape Earth's Gravity
Desire to live among the Stars
Desire to escape from Earth's Depravity
Flattered to be among the chosen few
To BOLDLY GO where no ones been before
Chosen by BUZZ ALDRIN who wanted to come too
But he was much too old at over eighty four !
The are 20 of us ~ all in pairs
The Jpurney took a Year and no one died !
Some days ~ we could not hold back the tears
A ONE-WAY TICKET ~ But we all Survived !
ROBOTS had gone ahead and built our CITY
Water pure ~ and OXYGEN to breath
As we approached it really did look PRETTY
And we knew it was to late to leave !
First Male & Female ~ Martian Pioneers
To make our Lives & Homes in Outer Space
We all hoped that we would live for Years & Years
And be the Parents of the MARTIAN RACE ~ AMEN !

BUZZ ALDRIN leads a Group who are looking at the logistics
of establishing a HUMAN COLONY ON MARS ! They think it is
feasible for the infrastructure to be built by ROBOTS (solar
powered ~ who won't need Oxygen ~ Water or Food) ready
for the first Humans to move in ! Criteria for selection was:
Couples ~ Scientists or Medics under 40 and with no childrten.
ANGELA & I ticked all the boxes ! Also were MAD enough to
GO and BRAVE enough to stay ! AMEN BRIAN & ANGELA XOX

How's the weather on Mars Brian? I've booked a trip there on the No.7 coach/bus for next week!
Thanks STEVE ~ we have the spare room ready for you and plenty of MARS BARS ! The Weather inside our HOUSES is perfect ! Outside it's Brass Monkey but we have Space Suit ready for you. THANKS CHRIS ~ Pleased you liked the POEM ~ I wrote the Poem as if we had already gone ! It was either MARS (Free) or EVEREST ($5000) where 1 in 10 die ! So I thought I would rather live on MARS (with ANGELA) than die alone on EVEREST (I am a Mountaineer) ! All MEN as you know have a DEATH WISH ~ BUT don't reach for the BRANDY ~ I'm not planning to do either ~ this week. Thanks Brian. I notice in some James Bond films. They are going to start a 'new world' or New something. But they forget that it is the very same people in the 'bad old world' that they hope to be successful in their 'New world'! Don't make sense. eg. Why did they go to the moon in 'Moonraker' with outwardly physically perfect human beings in the spaceship? They were the same people inside, in their hearts/souls/spirits!
We cannot get this world right so we are now going to ruin another one. It won't happen as we are being watched all the time and being laughed at by serious space travellers.
Never forget that the the first words that Neil Armstrong said when he walked on the moon were "They are here!".
