Colossians 1 v.15-23 part

Christ He the head, He over all

Come to Him, on Him call

He lives, He reigns, He rules supreme

Howe'er outward things seem

 

He makes peace through blood of His cross

Suffered, redeemed our loss

Whether things in heaven, earth be

He reconciles all, see

 

Your mind did cause you from Christ go

Alienated, so

And enemies of Him you were

You did not to Him stir

 

Yet even though this was your state

Christ reconciled you, great

Was His working, His plan for you

His mercies not a few

 

For through His life given for you

You are a creature new

Made holy in His sight, made pure

His Spirit in you sure

 

And unblameable you are made

For Christ the price He paid

And unreproveable you be

From accusations free

 

In Christ you are, continue in

The faith, not partake sin

Be grounded, settled, the gospel

Hope believe still, all tell

 

Thanks, praises to Christ be outpoured

He e'er our Saviour, Lord

He saves, redeems, heals, reconciles

Worship Him often whiles

    Unblameable, unreproveable, from accusations free... through Christ. His dealing with our sins, guilt (true or false guilt); our 'what if's; 'if only I had...'; regrets; our punishing ourselves; etc.
